The Grassy Knoll Report is an iOS app developed to document events surrounding the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in Dallas on November 22, 1963. The app release was timed to coincide with the 50th anniversary commemoration.
The app integrates a variety of story-telling techniques. These include long-form articles, an historical timeline comprised of 200 entries, and a detailed treatment of key event locations in and around Dallas, Oak Cliff, and Fort Worth, Texas. Supporting features include Google Maps, contemporary location photography, archive media, integrated text-to-speech, and a custom iTunes music playlist featuring songs released in 1963.
